Couples Session | Elie Beach | Fife
Nicola & Alastair are no strangers being in front of the camera so this was literally a walk in the park for them. They were to be married at Dalhousie Castle so they opted for a more relaxed location for their pre-wedding session, so Elie it was. It had been a while since I had been here so it was nice to be back. We took our time walking from the car park towards the beach before turning back for a walk around the lighthouse. I would highly reccomend a visit here, it is such a lovely place.
Glencoe Elopement | Scottish Highlands
Joanne & Ryan had a wander around a few spots in and around Glencoe on a rare day of sunshine. Although a touch blustery, they were both troopers and took it all in their strides. they both got ready at the Ballahulish Hotel before setting off. Of course we stopped for a late lunch at the famous Boots Bar for some pub grub, which was amazing as always. I partnered up with Joe Hall Weddings on this one, he was shooting 35mm film and I was doing digital and video. This was a full day and although it did not feel like it, everyone left with huge smiles on faces… Myself included.
Hannah & Andrew | Pre-Wedding Session | Luss
Hannah and Andrew chose to have their pre-wedding session in Luss on the banks of Loch Lomond and although it was a fairly bleak afternoon it didn’t spoil anything even a little bit! They got engaged in the area and are getting married here as also, so it only seemed right that they got some photos here as well.
5 Reasons To Consider A Pre-Wedding Shoot
A pre-wedding shoot can help you get comfortable in front of the camera, which will come in handy on your wedding day! It also provides a great way for your Photographer to get used to working with both of you before the big day arrives. Not only does this mean more time spent getting photos captured but it also means you’ll be more familiar with how both parties interact with each other which makes capturing those special moments even easier!
Highland Proposal, Glencoe
Mairéad & Jordan got engaged in the Scottish Highlands in Glencoe, more specifically the most famous little white cottage around and it was perfect! There were gaps of sun, cloud and even rain… What a shock, but it made for some atmospheric conditions.
The Proposal - Wild Kabn Kitchen, Argyll
Capturing special moments is what it is all about and this was one of them. When Danial reached out to plan his proposal to his partner Ellie I was instantly keen for it! We had emailed back and forth and nailed down some fine details regarding the where, when and how. The how being that the reason I was there was that it was in fact a birthday surprise for Ellie so that they would have some nice photographs together.
Tyninghame Beach, Couple Session
Tyninghame Beach is hands down one of my favourites, it just has everything you could want. Incredible sand dunes, woodlands and more shoreline than you could need so lets just say I was more than happy to meet Anna & James here for their pre-wedding shoot! We had hoped for some golden hour light but it did not quite happen that way but we had so much fun playing around and getting more photos than I imagined.
Loch Lomond Couple Session
A lovely evening walk around the fringe of Loch Lomond with Giulia & Luis for their pre-wedding session. We had arranged to meet in the early evening as they preferred to have a chance of some soft light and planned to sit by the shore and make a fire, something they normally do from time to time.
