Oxenfoord Castle Wedding, Midlothian
Castle, Edinburgh, Scotland, Wedding
Anna & James celebrated in style with their luxury wedding at Oxenfoord Castle. With morning preparations here it was the perfect setting to get ready for the big day. They chose to get married at their own church, Carrubbers situated on the Royal Mile. The groom and his best men arrived to greet guests from far and wide and whilst he was taking position at the alter, Anna arrived in a beautiful vintage white wedding car and for a few moments brought the entirety of the high street to a standstill with onlookers stopping for a glimpse at the bride and her entourage.
The ceremony was held by none other than Anna’s grandfather which was a really special addition to the service. He delivered a lovely service with humour, affection and the joy of the occasion. After the ceremony everyone gathered outside to once again bring the street to a standstill as we prepared for the bride & groom to walk the line for confetti. Soon after this the bridal party departed back to Oxenfoord Castle for the drinks reception. The grounds provided the perfect place for group and couple photos with vast greenery all around.
The reception began and evening guests started to arrive and the couple had their first dance together before the party really started! After a while it was time for Loch Lomond played by the band and the couple then had their sparkler exit to start their journey together.
